Three feet of snow on the lawn, but only 8 minutes to the slopes. Skiing a lot this winter!
My first grandbaby (Evie Gabrielle) was born November 8, 2008. She's gorgeous! Looks like her dad, who looks like me! haha
7/3/07 - Well, my daughter graduated and moved into the dorms at Weber State University. Now I have two in college, one who is done (mechanical engineering) and one who is 26 and not sure what the heck to do with himself. I'm crossing my fingers he'll get his fanny to school! As for me, I work at a resort, the Reservation Supervisor, and it's only a couple of miles from my home in Midway, Utah. Live is busy, what with the dogs, the golfing, the job, and the occasional visit from one of the kids.
I'm engaged - but in no hurry to get married again...been there, done that. So we're just hanging...Expand for more
out, having a great time. Ironically I finally found a good one, and I'm scared to death to marry him! Then again, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Life is good like it is!
Looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion!
8/06 -Here I am, unable to believe I could already be experiencing "empty nest syndrome"! My three boys are on their own, and my daughter, 18 begins her Senior year in two weeks. She still lives at home, but I only see signs of that occasionally - dirty dishes, unfinished laundry. My kids have turned out amazingly well, even though I tried so hard to screw them up! LOL
So mostly it's just me - which is sometimes great and sometimes lonely. Mostly I work and travel, do a little camping and fly fishing and in some ways life has never been better.
